TowerFall

TowerFall is an archer combat game. There are a bunch of different characters to chose from, lots of levels, cool music, unique arrow types, and treasure! It can be played on Steam and PS4.

Tower Fall may be played with up to 4 players. I usually play Last Man Standing. In this mode the last man standing of the round gets a point, and you'll need a set number of points to be the victor! When a round commences the players start with 3 arrows. You can get more from chests, or from dodging into an incoming arrow to catch it. Shoot another player or jump on their head to kill them. Players can also die in various other ways depending on the level.

When setting up your game you can also set variants. For example you can set infinite drill arrows, or max treasure! If you have a play around with these settings, things can get really crazy.

There are a few cool characters to chose from, and since getting the new DLC for it, there are also alternate versions of the characters! When you are in the lead with the most points, you will wear a crown. When you are too far behind, you will start with a shield (this may be changed if you want).

One of the most interesting things about the game are the various arrows that you can equip! This is one thing which makes this game very unique. For a few examples: there are bomb arrows, which explode upon impact. You can easily kill yourself with these if you're not careful! There are also laser arrows, which bounce off walls, and drill arrows, which go through walls!

As mentioned there is also treasure! I like the wings but when I have these I tend to get careless, and get shot down. You'll also get other arrow types from treasure. Some treasure can be dangerous, so watch out and be ready to dodge away!

At the end of each round there is a replay of the last few seconds. This is a lot of fun to watch, and you can save the good ones too! Awards are given for things like the longest shot, or most zen and so forth.

This is a very fun game that everyone I've played it with has really enjoyed. It's a really good one to play now and then when a group of friends come over and I highly recommend you go play it now!
